The new Cali Move App version 1.2.0 is here.
With this update, we added new ways to manually adjust your exercise progression, improved the workout briefing, added more exercise video options, and fixed several issues reported by the community.
Here’s what’s new.
Manually Adjust Your Exercise Progression

One of the biggest changes in version 1.2.0 is the new Manual Progression Adaptation.
You can now manually adjust the progression level and with that the difficulty of an exercise directly inside the app.
This is available in two places:
- in the Exercise Overview
- on the Rest Screen during your workout
You’ll see new up and down buttons that allow you to move the exercise progression higher or lower when needed.
This gives you more control if you feel that the suggested exercise level does not match your current ability.
For example, if the app suggests a progression that feels too difficult, you can manually move it back to an easier level. Or if you start a new program and already know that the suggested starting level is too easy for you, you can adjust it before collecting more training data.
The app will still guide your training, but this update gives you an additional option to correct or fine-tune your progression when needed.
Improved Workout Briefing

We also reworked the Workout Briefing screen to make it more useful and easier to navigate.
Previously, when you opened a workout, you first saw a short briefing text. To see the exercises included in the session, you had to open the exercise overview separately.
Now, the exercise overview is directly included inside the workout briefing.
When you open a workout from your weekly overview, you can now immediately see:
- the name of the workout
- workout details such as duration and number of exercises
- the full exercise list directly below the header
This saves an extra tap and gives you a clearer overview of what is coming before you start your workout.
More Exercise Video Options

We also improved the Exercise Information screen.
Previously, the video section focused on showing common mistakes and corrections through the Do’s and Don’ts video.
With this update, you can now also view the regular exercise demo (which you know from the workouts) directly inside the Exercise Information screen.
This means you can check the correct exercise execution from different perspectives before starting the movement.
This was requested by users who wanted to see not only what to avoid, but also how the exercise should look when performed correctly.
Fixed Countdown Audio Timing
We fixed an issue where the countdown signal sound could start slightly too early before work or rest phases.
The countdown audio should now match the timing more accurately, so it is clearer when to start working and when to rest.
Correct Exercise Count Display
We also fixed an issue where the number of exercises shown in a planned workout could be inconsistent.
Previously, the app could show a higher number before the workout because warm-up exercises were included in the count. After completing the workout, only the main exercises were displayed, which made the number look different.
This has now been corrected, so the exercise count is displayed more consistently.
Improved Video Playback Stability
Some users experienced a rare issue where a video could freeze while the workout timer continued running in the background.
This has been fixed in version 1.2.0.
Video playback during workouts should now be more stable and better aligned with the workout timer.
Support Issues Resolved
We also fixed several issues that were reported through support.
This includes:
- login issues
- problems when switching programs
- subscriptions incorrectly shown as canceled despite still being active
- rescheduling issues where workouts were moved to the wrong day or appeared out of order
- problems when selecting a starting date after changing programs
These fixes should make the app experience more reliable, especially for users who were affected by these specific issues.
Improved Progression Logic
We also made adjustments to the app’s progression logic.
Some users reported cases where feedback led to an incorrect progression adjustment. We reviewed these cases and made improvements so progression changes should now behave more accurately.
As always, the goal is to make the app better at matching your current performance level and providing workouts that fit your training progress.
More Improvements Are Coming

Version 1.2.0 is another step in improving the Cali Move App based on community feedback and real user reports.
We will continue refining the app, fixing issues, and adding features that make your training experience more flexible, accurate, and user-friendly.
Thank you for sharing your feedback and helping us improve the app step by step.
Let’s keep improving,
The Cali Move Team
